We realize we've crossed school lines in this story, but there's a good reason why. Bluffton Icon's sister publication, The Ada Icon, caught up with several Ada High School students on Oct. 4. It's Ada's homecoming "spirit week."
Each day of the week has a different dress theme. Turns out on Oct. 4 the theme was dress like a Northwest Conference mascot.
The Ada icon photographed several students doing just that, and two of them dressed as Bluffton Pirates. Thus, the photo. To help explain this further, we've provided a video. And if you view the photo on the top of the home page, you'll hear what an Ada Pirates sounds like.
We can only wonder what would happen at BHS if you could dress like an Ada Bulldog.
