Health Department Food Day event in Lima, Oct. 24
A Food Day event will take place in Lima on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the City Club, 144 S. Main Street, from 5-8 p.m., according to the Allen County Department of Health.
The tentative agenda for the evening includes:
5-6 p.m. Farm to Fork Tour – with heavy hors d’oeuvres celebrating local food, and representatives throughout the food system: farmer, distributor, advocate, educator, government, health worker, and waste/recycling.
6-7 p.m. “Weight of the Nation” screening and panel presentations
7-8 p.m. Roundtable discussions and door prizes
