Funeral service for Robin Wilch, owner of Groves Bears, Tuesday
Bluffton businesswoman Robin Sue Wilch, 58, of Lima died at 11:48 p.m. Oct. 19, 2012 at St. Rita’s Medical Center Lima. She was born Dec. 27, 1953 in Bluffton. Her father, Robert (Terri) Wilch survives near Bluffton and her mother, Sue Kempf Groves, survives in Lima.
Robin was the owner of Grove Bears in Bluffton. She was an animal activist and worked with Deb’s Dogs and Lots of Love Animal Rescue. She was a 1972 Bluffton High School graduate.
Survivors also include two sisters, Victoria Cabot of Lima, Penny McGinn of Phoenix, Ariz., and a niece, Dallas Dunn of Los Angeles, Caif.
A memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton. Michael Downey will officiate. Visitation will be from noon to 2 pm Tuesday. Memorial contribution may be made to Deb’s Dogs or Lots of Love Animal Rescue. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
