Peanut brittle coming up! First batch on sale Nov. 6
The Bluffton Senior Center will start making this year's supply of peanut brittle on Monday, Nov. 5, according to Tonya Meyer, of the center.
"The candy will be ready to purchase on Tuesday, Nov. 6, and can be purchased during regular business hours that include Saturdays, now until Christmas. Peanut brittle is one of the Senior Center’s biggest fundraisers and one of the longest traditions at the Senior Center," she told The Icon.
The recipe is the same that was used in 1974 when volunteers at the Center produced their first batch.
Meyer said that last year, the Senior Center sold its last bag of brittle the week before Christmas, so don’t wait. Get your holiday supply now.
