Shirley's customer appreciation weekend brings back 4th annual popcorn eating contest plus lots more
Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn Co., 117 S. Main St., Bluffton, will hold its annual customer appreciation weekend Friday to Sunday, Nov. 2-4, according to Pete and Kim Suter, owners.
The weekend includes several give-aways, games, door prizes and other activities. Persons who spend $10 or more at Shirley’s receives a free $5 gift card. A free movie pass to the Shannon Theatre will be given to each patron.
On Saturday, Nov. 3, the following events take place:
10 a.m. – Story time at the Shannon Theatre
11 a.m. - Fourth annual popcorn eating contest – must be 18 to participate
Shirley’s will extend its hours during the holidays. Starting on Nov. 1 hours are:
Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sunday 1 to 6 p.m.
November’s flavor of the month is Black Forest Cake popcorn (black cherry popcorn drizzled with milk chocolate), and Bluffton Icon popcorn (caramel corn drizzled with milk chocolate and then sprinkled with coffee).
