Lots of Middle School activities in December
December is a busy month at Bluffton High Middle School. Here are some of the activities taking place.
LIL' PIRATES
Lil' Pirates will begin this Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. in the HS gym.
JH BASKETBALL/CHEERLEADER MCDONALD'S ORDER
Please have your McDonalds order form and money to Mrs. Phillips by Friday, Nov. 30.
SUPERFAN T-SHIRTS
Campus Life members have designed a new style of SuperFan T-shirt. They will be selling the t-shirts as a fundraiser with part of the proceeds going to purchase Christmas gifts for children in the Angel Tree Program.
The t-shirts are red with the Superman Emblem on the front with the letters BHS. Order forms are available in the Middle School office or at Sports Warehouse. The cost of the t-shirts are $10.
PIRATE CARDS
Pirate cards are now on sale in the Middle School Office for $10. This card offers various discounts to local businesses. Proceeds from the sale of these cards goes to the Bluffton Athletic Boosters.
TOY FOR TOTS DRIVE
Our annual Toys for Tots drive is currently underway. Please bring in a new, unwrapped toy and place it in the designated box by the Middle School office until Dec. 10.
6TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL
Practices will begin Monday, Nov. 12 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the Bluffton Elementary gym. Practices will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays in the elementary gym from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
LADY PIRATE LIFTING
Open lifting for the Lady Pirates will be from 3:30 p.m - 4:30 p.m on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays.
STUDENT SENATE FOOD DRIVE
All items can be dropped off in room #107 (Mrs. Ault's). We will be taking items from Monday, Nov. 5 - Friday, Dec. 14. The goal for each grade level is 700 cans/items. Please give generously to help others in need! Collected so far: 6th grade - 204; 7th grade -196; 8th grade - 211.
2 HOUR DELAYS ANNOUNCED
Please mark your calendar! Bluffton Exempted Village Schools will have 2-hour delays on: December 5th, January 23rd, and April 3rd.
Teachers and administrators will work on the implementation of the new "Common Core Curriculum Standards" with Formative Instructional Practices". Teachers and administrators will be receiving over 25 hours of training this school year to prepare for our future state adopted curriculum.

Please turn in your information form into the office sometime this week.
HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC TICKETS
Student passes are available for $25 which gets you into any 10 HOME athletic events. Senior Citizens passes are available for $30 and will get you into any 10 HOME athletic events.
