Hugh Chamberlain born in Bluffton
Hugh Eugene Chamberlain, 86, of Findlay died at 5:45 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at The Heritage, Findlay, Ohio.
Hugh was born on April 25,1926, to the late David Eugene and Willa Rose (Holmes) Chamberlain inBluffton. Hugh married Mary Kathryn Yates on May 5, 1949, and she
survives.
Hugh is survived by daughter, Claudia Ann (Edwin H. Morgan) Chamberlain of
Findlay; sister, Sue Ellen (Blaine Bauman) Hardwick of Bluffton; and a
granddaughter, Molly Morgenstern LaLonde.
Hugh was a truck driver for United Trucking Service for 25 years. Hugh
also worked for and drove school bus for Blanchard Valley Schools for 9
years.
He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 299 and the American
Federation of Musicians. Hugh was a highly accomplished musician and
formed a harmonica band on the Blanchard Valley School Bus called Huey's
Harmonica Band. He also loved Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at
Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, where visitation will be from
6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3. Pastor Carol Clements will
officiate and burial will be at a later date.
