Bluffton chamber website puts on a new face
The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce website has a new look thanks to an overhaul this week from Ryan Lowry, a Bluffton web developer.
The website www.explorebluffton.com, which includes lots of information about the commnity, attracts over 1,200 viewers per month.
Several new features to the website include:
• a calendar of current Bluffton events
• A video channel - currently showing a promo video of Bluffton
• A connection to the chamber's facebook site
• An improved photo gallery, displaying dozens of community images
• the current issue of the chamber's newsletter
• feature stories on Bluffton
These new features join several bits of community information including:
• A list of all 171 chamber members and links to those member websites
• A printer-friendly map showing holiday lights in Bluffton
• The current Explore Bluffton visitors' guide in "flipbook" format
• in addition to several other features.
Because of its visibility on the web, the chamber wants its website to promote the community in the best way possible.
Over the past 30 days the following stats reveal the number of viewers the site attracts:
• 1,236 total visits
• 265 individual visits on Nov. 24 (Blaze of Lights day)
• visits from persons in 10 countries
• visits from persons in 31 states
• visits from persons in 121 Ohio cities and villages
The chamber encourages "likes" to its facebook site. That site also had a recent facelift and now offers updates on Bluffton events. Click here to view the chamber facebook.
