Ken Lugibihl will head the Bluffton school board in 2013. The board elected officers and made several other appointments during its Jan. 14 reorganizational meeting.

The appointments follow:
Ken Lugibihl – board president
Renee Smith – board vice president
Brad Fruchey – official delegate to the 2013 Ohio School Board Conference
Renee Smith - alternate delegate to the 2013 Ohio School Board Conference
Ken Lugibihl – legislative liaison to the Ohio School Board Association
Kay Miller – student achievement liaison
Brad Scoles – board representative on the Athletic Council
Renee Smith – board representative on the Diesel-Tingley Scholarship Committee and the Charles Hankish Sr., and Sophia Hankish Scholarship Committee
Kay Miller and Ken Lugibihl - buildings and grounds

The board’s 2013 meeting schedule follows. All meetings are on Mondays and begin at 7:30 p.m. with the exception of the December meeting. All meetings are in the elementary media center.
