Richland Manor donates over $2,000 to Bluffton Senior Citizens Center
Richland Manor, Swaney Road, Bluffton, recently donated over $2,000 to the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center.
Through a combination of hosting a Christmas raffle and collecting cash donations from staff and residents’ family members, Richland Manor was able to give back to the local community, according to Sarah Foster, executive director at Richland Manor.
Three winners were announced in the Richland Manor Christmas raffle. They are:
First Place: Jackie Miller
Second Place: Wanda Wireman
Third Place: Lori Bassett
On Jan. 31, Richland Manor presented the Bluffton Senior Center with a check for $2,050.71. The staff of Richland Manor will partner with Bluffton University students on Feb. 8 by using the funds they raised to help repaint the interior of the Senior Center.
Each year, Richland Manor, along with its sister health campuses across a five-state area, participates in an annual fundraiser called Hope for the Holidays. Each campus is responsible for creating a fundraiser, with the proceeds benefiting a local charity. Richland Manor has a history of not only providing excellence in care and compassion to their residents, but also to the community as well.
“Richland Manor is committed to strengthening the community we serve. Supporting organizations like the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center helps to make a difference by improving the quality of life in our community,” said Foster. "At our health campus, we are constantly striving to make a positive difference in Bluffton."
Richland Manor offers a full range of personalized senior living services.
"Our senior living services are delivered by staff specially trained to honor and enhance the lives of our residents through compassion and commitment to exceeding customer expectations," said Foster.
