"Driving Miss Daisy" preview - watch the video
The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce presents "Driving Miss Daisy," at 8 p.m., Saturday, March 9, at The Centre. The performance, by the Van Wert Civic Theatre, is a fundraiser for the chamber.
Tickets are $10 each and are on sale at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, Greg's Pharmacy, Village Cut 'n' Curl and at the door on March 9. Tickets will also be available at the chamber breakfast on March 8.
There are no reserved seats. The doors open at 7 p.m.
Everett Collier of Bluffton plays the role of Hoke Coleburn. Joining him are Jan Miller as Daisy Werthan and Joe Warnement as Boolie Werthan. George Dunster directs the performance.
Proceeds from the performance will launch the chamber's Main Street Banner Project. The chamber hopes to purchase several seasonal banners to hang on downtown light poles.
