Bluffton University, once called Bluffton College, was orginally called Central Mennonite College. Here is a photograph of the first-ever building on the campus. It's College Hall, which still exists today.
Several things stand out in this photo:
1 - Paved driveway
2 - Driveway loops around the building
3 - Absence of parking spaces
4 - Sidewalk - is it a set of wooden planks, or concrete?
5 - Is the man in the yard pushing a mower?
6 - Is there a pump near the entrance of the building?
7 - There appears to be poles going through the yard. What is their purpose?
