Louise Amstutz was a licensed insurance agent with former Amstutz Insurance Agency
Louise E. Amstutz, 85, died at 9:04 p.m. March 29, 2013 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was born Dec. 21, 1927, in Hancock County to the late Harvey and Roma (Wilch) Wilch. On Feb. 16, 1947 she married E. Wayne Amstutz and he died Oct. 26, 2012.
Mrs. Amstutz worked for her husband’s insurance agency, Amstutz Insurance, Bluffton, and was a licensed insurance agent. She was a member of the English Lutheran Church, Bluffton. She belonged to a sewing group, Bible studies and was active in church and Sunday school. She belonged to the Mother’s Nite Out Club since 1950 . She was a graduate of Bluffton High School.
Survivors include two sons Mark (JacQuie) Amstutz of Eastham, Mass., Alan (Sue) Amstutz of Dublin, Ohio; two daughters Patricia (Roger) Luginbuhl of Bluffton, Debra (Dan) Butler of Sandpoint, Idaho,; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers Bob (Terri) Wilch and Ray (Raelene) Wilch both of Bluffton; and a sister Genie Peterson of Arizona.
A sister, Levon Downey preceded her in death.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at English Lutheran Church. Rev. Kevin Mohr officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.
