Harold Spallinger was retired from General Dynamics
Harold W. Spallinger, 86, of Pandora died at 3:20 p.m. April 12, 2013 at the Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora.
He was born Sept. 18, 1926 in Toledo to Hiram and Gladys Irene Doty Spallinger. On Oct. 14, 1949, he married Rosalie Clifton and she survives.
Mr. Spallinger retired from General Dynamics, Lima.
Survivors also include two sons, George (Kathy) Spallinger of Findlay, Ill.,, Lynn (Glenda) Spallinger of Pandora, 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a brother, David (Marilyn) Spallinger of Bluffton, and three sisters, Doris Turner of Pandora, Betty Moser of Bluffton and Wanda Spallinger of Texas.
He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Spallinger.
Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Rev. Rick Hart will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are by Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
