St. John Mennonite children's choir presents musical April 28
The Children's Choir at St. John Mennonite Church, Pandora, will present the musical "Blast Off! Discovering the God of Creation," twice on Sunday, April 28. Performances are at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Nearly 65 youth are involved in the production. The church is located at 15988 Road 4, Pandora.
The story takes place in a little girl's dream the night before going to a space camp. In the dream Rudy and her two siblings find themselves in a space shuttle flying through the atmosphere.
As the story progresses they run into some trouble when they lose contact with Mission Control and their onboard robot, G2D2, breaks down, causing the space shuttle to go way off course.
The children begin to panic, but the planets and stars encourage them to go directly to God for help.
