Apollo student Gabe Cozadd will compete in Kansas City
Apollo Career Center student Gabe Cozadd will be traveling to Kansas City for his performance in the state SkillsUSA competition.
Cozadd, an Automated Manufacturing Technology junior from Bluffton, won first place and received a gold medal in CNC Milling and qualified for the National SkillsUSA competition held June 23-29, in Kansas City, Missouri.
He was required to write a CNC program using a simulator which involved G-codes and M-codes, and then utilized a blueprint to figure out a tool path. This is the third year an Apollo student has won the gold medal in this category.
