The subject was wedding dresses...lots of them

Rita Wannemacher tried on her wedding dress yesterday and it fit perfectly.
She even worn it during a wedding dress "show" at the Bluffton University Institute for Learning in Retirement's ladies tea on May 22.
Did we mention that Rita first wore the dress in 1938? Her dress was not the oldest shown at the tea. Ruth Burcky's dress from the early 1920s, won that prize. There were other dresses that came out of storage for the day. Many others.
Dresses from the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, and on up to 2000 were modeled. To view these dresses open the attachment at the bottom of this story.
