Steven P. Essinger, 1953 - 2013
Steven P. Essinger, age 61, died Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 11:53 p.m. at his residence in Alger.
He was born on March 15, 1952 in Kenton to Paul G. and Wilma A. (Williams) Essinger, his father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Arlington. He married Saundra A. Biederman on August 25, 1979 in Kenton and she survives in Alger.
Steven was an Associate at the Honda Manufacturing, East Liberty Plant. He attended Victory Chapel of Praise, Alger. He was a 1970 graduate of Hardin Northern High School.
Also surviving are a son William (Tracey) Howard of Kenton; two daughters: Holly (Randy) Cool of Raymond and Amber Essinger of Kenton; son-in-law, Edwin Guiles of Bellefontaine; nine grandchildren: Molly, Alissa, Mike, Justin, Will, Matthew, Dylan, Alex and Zach; one great grandchild, Lexi; three brothers: Dennis Essinger of Arlington, Eddie (Lola) Essinger of Indian Lake and Rex (Diane) Essinger of Bluffton; a sister, Linda (Terry) Needham of Kenton; mother-in-law, Shirley Biederman of Kenton; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela K. Essinger-Guiles; an infant brother, Kenneth Essinger.
Funeral Services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Pastor David Schneer officiating. Burial will be in McDonald-Fairview Cemetery, Kenton.
Friends may call 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hardin County Hospice, Kenton.
