Junior high students can get math enrichment
Students who have completed grade seven or eight and an accelerated pre-algebra course may attend the fifth annual Bluffton University Junior High Mathematics Enrichment Camp Monday-Thursday, June 10-13.
Led by Dr. Donald Hooley, a professor of mathematics, participants will explore topics such as number theory and introductory cryptology using pencil and paper, calculators and computer software in group settings.
Camp hours are 10 a.m. to noon each day. On the first day, participants should bring a pencil or pen, calculator and notebook, along with a $20 instruction and materials fee, to 206 Centennial Hall on the Bluffton campus.
