Letter to the Editor: Mustard Seed Café reopens after break-in
The windows may have been shattered, but not the spirit at Mustard Seed Café.
In the early hours of Wednesday, May 29th, there was a break-in at Bluffton’s newest restaurant which had just opened on March 22nd. There was extensive damage to the kitchen, including the food storage area. It took staff four days to clean up the debris, wash all the dishes and cookware, and restock the pantry.
The café has now reopened. General Manager Rhonda Moor decided to celebrate by offering a new summer menu. Owners Dick & Jayne McGarrity said that they have received overwhelming expressions of concern and support from the community and are looking forward to offering new and unique dining experiences to their guests.
