Challenger British Soccer Camp coming to BFR July 29
BFR Sports and Fitness will host a Challenger British Soccer Camp July 29 to Aug. 2, according to Carole Enneking, director.
This international soccer program combines a strong emphasis on fundamental foot skills with an upbeat, positive camp environment. Challenger Camps are staffed by soccer players/coaches from the United Kingdom.
Campers (ages 4-16) may choose between morning and evening sessions (or combine both sessions for a full day experience).
Mini-soccer groups are scheduled from 10:30 a.m.-noon and 6:30-8 p.m. for youth ages 4, 5 and 6. Cost for the mini soccer sessions is $85 and older groups $114. Online registration is recommended, visit www.challengersports.com; or registration forms are available at BFR. A late registration fee will be charged for those registering after July 19.
The 1,000 Touches Curriculum used by the staff has been designed to improve technical development. Also exclusive to these camps is the World Cup Tournament format that teaches the campers about different international locations.
Each day’s activities include a blend of fun drills, competitive play with small-sided teams, plus team building.
