BVHS to host Nursing College Fair July 26
Blanchard Valley Health System is hosting a nursing college fair Friday, July 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Marathon Auditorium at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. The nursing college fair is for high school students interested in pursuing nursing careers as well as current nurses who would like to learn about continuing education opportunities.
“This is an opportunity for all current nurses and prospective future nurses to learn about career opportunities. We will have representatives whose schools specialize in bachelor’s and master’s degree nursing programs, as well as an opportunity for high school students to learn about the profession of nursing,” said Chris Hoover, RN, nursing college fair chairperson. “The college fair’s purpose is to promote professional development through education.”
Colleges and universities in attendance will include Ohio Northern University, the University of Toledo Medical Center, Mercy College of Northwest Ohio, Owens Community College and more.
