Bluffton chamber invites community members to consider a membership
As the 2013-14 The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce season begins, the chamber invites businesses, organizations and individuals in the community to join the chamber.
The chamber currently has 182 members and has expanded this season to offer memberships to individuals not necessarily associated with a business or organization.
"We invite interested residents of the larger Bluffton community to consider joining the chamber to show their support the community," said Fred Steiner, chamber CEO.
An individual membership is only $50 and it covers a 12-month period. The summer is the best time to join as an individual because lots of things starting happening in early September.
The 2013-14 list of chamber benefits is an attachment to this story. The most basic benefit, which more than pays for an individual membership is nine free breakfasts. Between 60 and 70 persons attend the monthly chamber breakfast meetings, which take place on the second Friday of each month in the third floor of the town hall.
Breakfast details and all the other chamber benefits are in the attachment. A membership application for is also part of the benefits attachment as is a list of all chamber members.
