AC Historical Society offers Sept. 22 train excursion
TICKET ORDER FORMS ON BOTTOM OF STORY
The Allen County Historical Society's "Riding the Rails" train excursion is planned Sunday, Sept. 22. The passenger train wll be pulled by former Nickel Plate Road diesel 901, repainted as 902.
The trip covers 42 miles round trip on the Genesee and Wyoming Road, courtesy of the Cincinnati Railway Co. Four coach cars will be pulled by 902.
Three excursions are planned with departure times at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. The round trips are from Lincoln Park, Lima, to Jackson Center and return.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for youth 13 and under. Babies held on laps are free. persons interested in tickets may contact:
