Former resident and her husband will share about their South Asia ministry
A celebration of the South Asia ministry of David and Carrie Hartman is hosted at The Centre At Bluffton, 601 N. Main St., from noon to 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 6, by English Lutheran Church. Carrie is the daughter of Bob and Sue Fett of Bluffton and English Lutheran is her home church.
The community is invited to participate in this event, which will provide an opportunity to learn more about the lives of families in South Asia, as well as to support the ministry of the Hartmans as they seek to "build bridges of peace" in the midst of those families.
A luncheon inspired by food traditions from South Asia will be served at the celebration.
Guests are requested to RSVP by Wednesday, Sept. 25, to Nancy Neff for seat reservations ([email protected]; home: 419-358-4799; work: 419-358-3317).
In keeping with South Asian custom, women are encouraged to bring/wear headscarves.
