June Hicks was retired from Triplett Corp.
June Hicks, 84, of Bluffton died at 11:50 a.m. Sept. 21, 2013 at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. She was born April 8, 1929 in Bluffton to Leland and Ruth Andrews Sechler. On Feb. 8, 1950, she married James Hicks and he preceded her in death on June 12, 2012.
Mrs. Hicks retired from Triplett Corp., Bluffton. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Bluffton.
She is survived by two sons, John (Jane) Hicks of Arlington, Michael (Robin) Hicks of Bluffton, a daughter, Ruth (Phillip Arn) Cox of Lima, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a sister, Carol Vermillion of Gibsonburg. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Connie Jean Hicks.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m Wednesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton. William Herr will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Mennonite Memorial Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
