Pauline Pursell was a graduate of Lima Central High School
Pauline Pursell, 78, died Oct. 11, 2013, at her residence. She was born Nov. 14, 1934, in Richmond, Kentucky, to the late Luther and Aline (Hornsby) Shaw. On Dec.24, 1963 she married Paul Pursell and he survives.
Mrs. Pursell had worked at Lima Ford Engine Plant in the cafeteria and also a homemaker and farm wife. She attended the Lima Community Church. She was a member of the Ford Retirees. She graduated from Lima Central High School.
Survivors include two daughters Opie (Michael) Wright and Christy Pursell both of Bluffton; a son Paul Pursell Jr. of Bluffton; two grandchildren Amy (Mike) Kinn, Brad (Amber) Wright; five great grandchildren Kelsey, Kaylee and Kyler Kinn, Blake and Brantley Wright; and a brother Billy (Wendolyn) Shaw.
She was preceded in death by a grandson; two infant brothers; and a brother James Shaw.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
