Impressive program, lots of fanfare and plant tours part of DTR Industries 25th anniversary celebration
Bluffton's largest employer, DTR Industries, celebrated its one-quarter century of existence in the community on Saturday.

The all-day event includes an impressive morning ceremony with several musical performances, recognition of 25-year associates, a tree planting, cake cutting, speeches by several members of the DTR management team and the presentation of four major gifts to Bluffton organizations.
DTR presented the Bluffton schools with a check for $10,000, and the Bluffton Fire-EMS Department a check for $10,000. DTR also presented the Bluffton Bikeway-Pathway project with a check for $2,500 and the Bluffton Public Library with a check for $2,500.
Following the morning outdoor program were tours of the plant. The afternoon was reserved for associates and their families with plant tours and an outdoor celebration.
