Should be an interesting year: Council's sidewalk review board prepares to meet
Shortly after Dennis Gallant, Bluffton mayor, announced 2014 council committee assignments, one of those committees set its calendar in motion.
Council’s sidewalk review board, not even an official council board, decided to organize for the year. The board includes council members Mitch Kingsley and Joe Sehlhorst along with Jason Granger, a citizen appointment.
The review board will meet for the first time at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 4, in the town hall. The committee's creation was initiated after council's sidewalk ordinance of 2013. This year, property owner on the east side of Main Street are required to upgrade or install new sidewalks.
