Here's a photograph from the 1926 Bluffton College Ista. Cheering for the Beavers during the 1925-26 school year were, from left, Edna Van der Smissen, Ralph Page (cheermaster) and Lloyd Beechy.
Beechy's home town was Sugarcreek and Page's was Goshen. The hometown of Edna Van der Smissen was not listed.
The yearbook states: "Doc" (Page) and Beechy in their characteristic way conducted pep meetings in such a manner that it left everyone with the feeling that it was the duty of every loyal student to support the teams to the limit.
