Elizabeth Benjamin was born in Germany
Elizabeth K. Benjamin, 93, of Findlay died at 8:05 p.m. Feb. 4, 2014, at Richland Manor, Bluffton. She was born Sept. 13, 1920 in Frankfort, Germany, to the late Karl and Elizabeth Baumann Lerch. On Aug.t 2, 1946, she married John Benjamin and he preceded her in death in June, 1985.
She was a homemaker and had graduated from business school in Frankfort. She attended Trinity Baptist Church, Findlay.
Survivors include a son, John Benjamin of Mt. Cory, three daughters, Linda Frobose of Findlay, Suzanne (John) Isaacs of Cape Coral, Fla., Lisa (Toby) McCaughey of Gainesville, Ga., 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Frank Benjamin and a sister, Margaret Lerch.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton. Rev. Kevin Mohr will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Mt. Cory.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the veterans organization of your choice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
