There's bookin' it during "Celebrate the Library Week" at Musselman
The week of Feb. 10-14 was the first Celebrate the Library Week at Bluffton University’s Musselman Library.
On “Wellness Wednesday,” Feb. 12, Dr. Sarah Cecire, a professor of education, tried out a FitDesk, an exercise bike with an attached desk.
Meanwhile, Dr. Deborah Myers, a professor and director of Bluffton’s dietetics program, checked out Favorite READS, a display of books of particular importance or interest to individual faculty and staff members.
The week also featured a Black History Month exhibit; a Nutrition Fair; an author program with Dr. J. Denny Weaver, professor emeritus of religion and author of the recently published book, “The Nonviolent God”; and giveaways of Musselman’s apple sauce.
Built in 1930, the library was the gift of Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Musselman, the Pennsylvania apple growers who founded the food company.
