Lone Raven to present Celtic, world music on university artist series
Tickets are available for the next performance in the Bluffton University Artist Series. The band Lone Raven will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, in Yoder Recital Hall.
With more than 20 instruments, Lone Raven performs an eclectic blend of Celtic, world and acoustic music, including its own compositions. The band’s instrumentals are fueled by the award-winning guitar playing of Neil Jacobs and the fiddles of Elizabeth Blickenstaff and Kara Markley, and driven by the rhythm section of Craig Markley and Sid Omasta. The band has recorded 11 CDs, including its most recent release, “Flight to Hinterland.”
Tickets for the concert may be purchased online at http://tickets.bluffton.edu, or by calling 419-358-3350. Reserved seats are $25 for adults, $20 for senior citizens and non-Bluffton students and $10 for children ages 6-13.
