Economics ‘blogosphere’ topic of talk on Feb. 28
Dr. Jonathan Andreas, an associate professor of economics at Bluffton University, will discuss “An Economics Blogosphere Internship” in a campus colloquium at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, in Centennial Hall’s Stutzman Lecture Hall. The talk is free and open to the public.
Andreas says the online “blogosphere” has had more influence on economics than on any other academic discipline. His presentation will deal in part with why the economics blogosphere has been reshaping academic research, publications and tenure decisions, plus he adds,“most importantly, the policy decisions that shape our entire economy and affect everyone.”
