BFR Sports and Fitness youth sports classes start soon
Several youth classes are beginning at BFR.
Basketball Basics introduces the skills of dribbling, passing and shooting as well as modified game play. Basketball meets on Thursdays, 3:30-4:30 p.m. from March 6 through April 3.
Flag Football Basics will be offered on Tuesdays, 3:30-4:30 p.m. beginning March 4 and continuing for four weeks. The football class will teach the fundamentals of agility, passing and receiving, as well as rules of flag football play. The Flag Football Basics class is a great introduction to those interested in the NFL Flag Football © League offered later in March.
The last winter session of U7 Soccer Fun will begin on March 6. U7 Soccer Fun combines a variety of activities with soccer balls to prepare younger children (ages 5, 6 and 7) for team play in April. The soccer class meets on Thursdays from 4:30-5:15 p.m.
A volleyball skills clinic will be offered for 4 weeks beginning March 19. The clinic prepares girls in grades 4, 5 and 6 for the Spring volleyball league. The clinic meets on Wednesdays from 4-5 p.m. Since these programs vary in price and length, contact BFR Sports & Fitness by calling 419-358-4150 or visiting the website www.bfronline.com for more information.
