Diane Barnes was retired village clerk of Ft. Shawnee
Diane L. Barnes, 76, of Beaverdam, died February 26, 2014 at her residence. She was born January 28, 1938 in Lima to the late Louis and Lucille Condon Baker.
Diane retired as clerk for the Village of Ft. Shawnee.
Diane is survived by three sons, Tim (Kim) Lehman of Columbus Grove, Greg Lehman of Lima, John (Melissa) Lehman of Columbus Grove, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three sisters, Marilyn Hancock of Beaverdam, Gloria Miller of Lima, Nancy (Ralph) VanMeter of Columbus Grove, and a brother, Richard (Sue) Baker of Daytona Beach, Fla. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Lehman.
Services will be held Saturday, March 1, at 2:30 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton. William Herr will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Beaverdam. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Beaverdam-Richland Fire Department. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
