Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn team volunteers at New Orleans charter school
While attending the International Franchise Association (IFA) convention Feb. 21-25 in New Orleans, the management team from Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn Co., joined more than 100 franchising executives from across the country to participate in the annual Franchising Gives Back day of service.
The team of Pete &and Kim Suter, Jennifer Althaus and Dan Stanowick volunteered alongside leading franchisors and suppliers to construct benches, picnic tables, and planters at Einstein Charter School, a leading K-8 school in the city’s Ninth Ward.
Following Franchising Gives Back, the Shirley’s delegation participated in four days of IFA convention seminars, panel discussions, and keynotes as part of its plan to develop new jobs and business opportunities through franchising.
