Ukrainian to discuss situation in home country March 26 in Marbeck
Galyna Korniyenko, a Ukrainian woman with Bluffton ties, will address the current situation in Ukraine in a talk on Wednesday (March 26) in the Kreider Room of Bluffton University’s Marbeck Center. Her lecture, scheduled to begin at 5:10 p.m., is free and open to the public.
Korniyenko, whose visit is sponsored by the university’s business department, is an information technology entrepreneur and urban planner. Visiting the United States for a conference in Atlanta, she is in the area thanks to her connections with local residents Phyllis Bixler and Dr. Perry Bush. Bush, a professor of history at Bluffton, was a Fulbright scholar in Ukraine two years ago.
