Seminar to help students improve test results set April 29

Bruce Boguski will conduct a seminar on increasing student test scores. The presentation is scheduled for 7-8 p.m. on April 29 in the Bluffton Middle School Cafetorium. Boguski is an author, motivational speaker, trainer, columnist and media personality who has written about the D.R.I.V.E.R. test taking system in his book The Testing Zone.

According to Boguski, "New discoveries in student learning reveal effective techniques that successfully allow students to dramatically raise their test scores by improving memory and retention, increasing creativity and learning and how to relax in pressure situations."

The seminar is free and open to the public and filled with valuable information to help students become better performers in the classroom.  The session will teach:

• 2 relaxation exercises that reduce test anxiety.
• 3 ways to activate memory.
• 4 easy exercises that “wake up” the brain
• 3 foods to avoid on test day
• How to use music and certain scents for memory and relaxation
