Marlenne Habegger was a Cory-Rawson graduate
Marlenne Sue Habegger, 66, of Bluffton died unexpectedly over the Easter weekend at her home. She was born in Findlay on August 13 1947. Her mother, Maxine Smith Leeper preceded her in death. Her father, William Leeper of Findlay survives. She married Edward Lynn Habegger in 1965. He died in 2006 after a long battle with cancer.
Marlenne was a homemaker. She was a long time member of Pleasant View United Methodist Church, Mt. Cory, and a graduate of Cory-Rawson High School.
Survivors include three sons, Christopher (Lisa) Habegger of Littleton, Colo., Mark (Stacie) Habegger of San Marcos, Calif., Brett (Lissa) Habegger of San Marcos, Calif., five grandchildren, Harley Watkins, Nash Watkins, Jack Habegger, Pierre Milan, Jessica Milan, five sisters, Billie (Duncan) Daugherty of Charlottesville, Va., Connie Leeper of Key Largo, Fla., Jackie (Ron) Scoles of Bluffton, Lee Ann Thaxton of Salam W.V., Lisa (Mike) Williams of Findlay and a brother Scott (Sue) Leeper of Scottsdale, Ariz. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Leeper.
Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
