BFR summer membership special: four months for the price of three
Beginning May 1 and continuing through August 30, BFR Sports and Fitness is offering four months of membership for the cost of three from May 1 to Aug. 30, according to Carole Enneking, director.
Individuals (14 years of age or older) will receive full membership benefits with this special. The price of $89.67 includes access to the fitness center, indoor track, discounts on class and training fees plus open recreation hours.
BFR Sports & Fitness is located at 215 Snider Road (immediately behind the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool). The air-conditioned fitness center is a members-only area with treadmills, elliptical trainers, stationary bikes, strength machines, cable-crossover machine, plus free weights and benches. Public areas include an indoor track, gymnasium and turf-arena.
BFR offers adult group exercise classes, running programs, personal training, tennis lessons, plus sport leagues, youth programs and family events. All BFR programs are open to the public; BFR members pay a reduced rate for programs.
In addition to short term memberships like this, family or single parent family memberships may be purchased. Recreation and Track Passes are options for those who do not want access to the fitness center.
