Several CRHS students receive agri-business scholarships
The Findlay·Hancock County Chamber Agri-Business Committee has awarded six $500 scholarships with funds raised from their annual Farmers Share Breakfast at Brugeman Lodge at Riverbend and Fresh Whole Hog Sausage Sale.
Scholarships are awarded to Hancock County students who are planning to, or already pursuing, a career in an agriculturally related field.
Scholarship recipients are: Aly Core, Cory-Rawson High School, who plans to attend the University of Northwest Ohio to pursue a major in Agri-Business and Business Management; Grant Ford, Cory-Rawson High School, who plans to attend North Carolina State University majoring in Agri-Business; Madi Mains, Arlington Local School, who plans to attend University of Northwest Ohio majoring in Agri-Business; Aubrey vonStein, Cory-Rawson High School, who plans to attend The Ohio State University ATI and major in Floral Design and Marketing; Samantha Walter, Riverdale High School, who plans to attend The Ohio State University ATI majoring in Agronomy; and Jordan Wright, Liberty Benton High School, who plants to attend The Ohio State University majoring in Agri-Business.
