Langhals recipient of MHCO's Barbara Fleming Memorial Scholarship
Nicole Langhals is the 2014 winner of the Barbara Fleming Memorial Scholarship sponsored by Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio, Bluffton and Pandora (MHCO).
Nicole is a 2012 graduate of Columbus Grove High School and is currently enrolled at the University of Akron in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. She is the daughter of Doug and Mary Langhals of rural Columbus Grove.
This annual award of $500 provides scholarship support to an individual pursuing a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse, a Registered Nurse or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Barbara Fleming, in whose honor the scholarship is made possible, was a resident of Mennonite Memorial Home from 1997-2000, was trained as a nurse and throughout her life exhibited the caring nature that characterizes the profession of nursing. The elders and staff of MHCO wish Nicole the best as she pursues her calling to serve others through the honorable profession of nursing.
