A carnival's coming to town - tonight at BFR
Start the summer by attending a carnival-style event hosted by BFR Sports & Fitness on Monday, June 2, from 6-8 p.m.
Activities for families with young children will include face painting, Minute-to-Win-It challenges, Twister, three-legged race, sack race, wheelbarrow race and two special triathalon events for youth. Parachute activities will be included at the end of event. Parents and children can “get active” together at this event. Tickets (50 cents each) will be required to participate in the races and contests.
The Bluffton Public Library will also be part of the celebration with a Storytime program beginning at 6:30 p.m. Library staff will be available to register for the summer reading program and to sign up for library cards.
The kick-off celebration is the first of seven summer family events planned.

• Family Hike is planned for June 23.
• In July, families can join in for a Family Bike Ride on July 14 and
