Edna Dalke funeral service in Kansas June 7; burial in Bluffton
Edna Dalke, 93, died on May 20, 2014, at Pleasant View Home of Inman, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Marilyn Dalke Busenitz, one son, Warren Dalke, and one 6 year old great-grandson, Bradley Dalke.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Dan U. Dalke; daughters Cheryl Epp of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Arline Clark of Dayton; Vonda McEachern of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 2 sons, Dale Dalke of Vancouver, Wash.; Verle Dalke of Dallas, Ore.; 24 Grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, in the chapel of Pleasant View Home in Inman, Kan. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Church Cemetery, Bluffton, following the Sunday morning worship service on Sept. 14, 2014.
Memorial gifts may be made to the missionary budget of the Ebenezer Mennonite Church of Bluffton. Her husband, Dan Dalke, was pastor of the Ebenezer Church for 18 years, 1961-1979. Five of the Dalkes' seven children were educated in the Bluffton schools.
