Alphorn performance party of Swiss Day events June 29
You don’t need to travel to Switzerland to hear alphorns. They are coming to Bluffton during this year’s Swiss Day, sponsored by the Swiss Community Historical Society.
This year’s Swiss Day includes a potluck at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, June 29, at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Columbus Grove Road. Persons attending are invited to print a potluck dish to share.
A 2 p.m. program features the performance by an alphorn quartet from Columbus.
The Schumacher homestead, 8350 Bixel Road, will have an open house beginning at 3 p.m.
All events are free and open to the public.
