Summer strings program starts June 10
Bluffton stringed instrument players will be in tune this summer as the summer strings program gets underway later this month, according to Rachael Lewis, teacher.
AN INSTRUMENT RENTAL FORM IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS STORY.
The program begins on Tuesday, June 10, and continues on Tuesday, July 1, July 8 and July 15. (No strings on June 17 or 24.)
“The program is for students wishing to play their instruments during the summer. It is a free program and takes place in the elementary strings room. Students may come to as many of the classes as their summer schedule permits,” she said.
Times for age groups follow:
9 a.m. – Beginning strings
9:30 a.m. – Junior high (former 6th-7th graders)
10 a.m. – 6th graders (former 5th)
10:30 a.m. – 5th graders (former 4th)
11 a.m. – High school
1 to 1:30 p.m. – Fiddling (high school)
1:30-2 p.m. – Fiddling (middle school)
