Don't leave town Saturday night - you'll miss the fireworks!
Don't leave town Saturday evening, or you'll miss all the fireworks! After a one-year absence, fireworks are returning to Bluffton.
The free community display takes place at dusk, which is approximately 9:30 p.m., Saturday, June 28, at the Bluffton University football stadium.
In addition to the fireworks, the Bluffton-Beaverdam-Richland Township United Way will sell 50/50 raffle tickets. The drawing for the 50/50 winner takes place at the stadium prior to the fireworks getting underway.
Previous fireworks displays were created by the Bluffton-Pandora Rotary Club, which is now disbanded. Due to public interest, the project was made a priority of the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce following a major committment from First National Bank and Springfield Fireworks.
This winter the chamber soliciated donations for the fireworks. Seventeen businesses, organizations and individuals contributed to the fund:
• First National Bank
• Springfield Fireworks
• Bluffton Hospital
• Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce

• Bluffton-Pandora Rotary Club ( closed its account)
• DTR Industries
• SHANNON Service Club
• Mark Alliman, Edward Jones
• Fortman Insurance
• Bluffton American Legion Post
• Eric Fulcomer
