Carolyn Grismore 1949-2014
Carolyn Sue (Spicer) Grismore, 65, of Pandora died on July 2, 2014 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. She was born on May 25, 1949, to Robert and Dorothy Spicer in Lima. She married Mark Grismore on Feb. 22, 1969 in Pandora.
Carol attended Pandora-Gilboa H.S. but graduated from Bath High School. She was a member of St. John Mennonite Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark, and her parents.
Survivors include her son, Greg Grismore of Grove City, and daughter Lori (Jon Dalton fiancé) Grismore of Tampa, Fla., three grandsons, Curtis and Grant Grismore and Kyle Taylor, four sisters Patricia Ward of Lima, Lesley (Sean) Kennefick of Columbia, Md., Marla (Fred) Muccino of Ellicott City, Md., Rhonda (Steve) Thompson of Chicago, Ill. and three brothers Bob Spicer of Lima, Blake Spicer of Columbia, Md., and David Spicer of Chicago, Ill.
Burial will be in Pandora Cemetery Saturday, July 5, at 10 a.m. followed by a memorial service at St. John Mennonite Church, Pandora at 11 a.m. Rev. Lynn Thompson will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice. Arrangements are by Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
