Adult volunteer opportunities to mentor Cory-Rawson elementary students
Icon viewers are invited to "take the chance to explore our world" by volunteering in a school-based mentoring program offered by Children's Mentoring Connection for Cory-Rawson School or Jacobs Primary School, Findlay.
This after -school program will kick-off in September and the program invites persons to consider becoming a volunteers.
Some of the planned activities include aim for the stars: bottle rockets, mad scientist, international food and culture.
"This is a small -time commitment that makes a big difference in the life of a child. The commitment is for 28 one-hour sessions from September to April," said Becky Baratta of the program.
